Well, in the spirit of sales and shopping online, I wanted to give you my Amazon favorites of what I have ordered, have loved, is kid approved and Mama approved too.
Yes, you are seeing a onesie. My kid had been asking for an animal onesie for a while now and I finally caved. I gave it to her as a fun end of the school year gift. She loves to have slumber parties in her big sister’s room every Friday night so it was kind a fun way to kick off the summer. Big sister wanted a kangaroo one. So this is hers. It’s even more adorable in person.
Now, for the Mamas… I love a good maxi dress in the summer. I wear it as a cover up, going out to dinner or running errands. It’s also a great transitional fall piece. This one comes in all kinds of colors so if neutral is not the name of your wardrobe game, then you will have plenty of colors to strike your fancy.
If you are looking for a sleeveless one, I have really enjoyed wearing this one last summer and this summer. It’s pretty much my go to packing dress every time I go to Florida. I can wear a tee over it or a white linen button down tied in a knot with sleeves pushed up and make it a totally different outfit. It’s super comfy for traveling or just lounging by the pool.
Speaking of the pool, other than my Albion favorites, I was pleasantly surprised by these two bathing beauty numbers. They fit well and were actually really good quality for the price. Check them out here and here!
This summer we have had some lazy mornings which if you know us, it is not like us at all! We are early birds, and we have usually gotten ten things done before 7 a.m. It’s been kind of nice though and what has made it even nicer (or harder )to get out of the pjs are not just my girls’ onesies but the onesie I found that is super soft. Yes, a onesie or jumpsuit. Whatever.
Finally, something for that special southern lady in your life. I love these bowls and I feel that every southern gal should have some kind of blue and white decor. I was drawn to these because they were white on the outside and then had this beautiful pattern on the inside. So it’s a win win. So I don’t own these myself, but I did get these for my mom. She is a true southern lady and after losing most her belongings and home thanks to Hurricane Michael, these beautiful bowls brought a little “home” to their rental.
Speaking of my mom, I feel like we kind of read this book (See here) together. I don’t like heavy reads in the summer and this one was actually the best combo. It was very funny yet uplifting! I took it to Florida when we went to see my Dad get sworn as mayor of PSJ last month and I couldn’t help but laugh out loud and then share the stories with my mom. Now, I even use “I aint doin it” in our texts together. It’s so good! So read it with your best girlfriend, your mom or grandma and enjoy those inside jokes as well as the uplifting lessons you will learn along the way.
So with that being said, I hope you rock it out (in style of course) the rest of this summer with some good reads, some good family or friend time and lots of laughs to last you for many seasons to come. Cheers!
