Well, Happy Target Tuesday friends! I am sorry it’s been a while since my last post. I have had a touch of PTMD (post traumatic moving disorder) since we transitioned from our very first home as a family of four to hopefully our forever home, but still as a family of four or five counting our sweet puggle, Tucker.

Whew! Moving is no walk in the park, especially with kids and a dog. Luckily, we had great help (thank you Grandma and Pop) and we were just moving from one neighborhood to another so we didn’t have to travel too far.

Now, as we are finally settling in, and making our “new” home our very own,  I can get back to my traditional Target posts.

Now, moving on (haha really no pund intended there) to what we are really here for. Our weekly dose of Target therapy.

This week and really all summer long, I am all about outfits that you can just throw on, add a fun accessory and be done. No thinking or stressing allowed. It’s just too hot.

I love this dress in this bright blue color, maybe because the shade leans toward a certain college team I love (Go Gators!) but it also comes in a really fun pattern here. I  don’t usually go for a high low style, but for summer why not? You could wear this dress in this striking style, to an outdoor cocktail party or even a luncheon, depending on how you accessorize. Because the of the bold color, you can do one of two things…and this depends on your personal style. Remember you have to stay true to yourself, even if you may be stepping out of the box just a touch, you still have to stay true to your personality and what suits you and makes you feel comfortable. Basically, you don’t want to feel like you are dressing up for Halloween. You want to feel like yourself, just stepping it up a notch.

So with this color, I would add statement earrings and a woven style clutch or small tote. If you don’t want to do the statement earrings, then add a gold cuff bracelet, a fun clutch in a colorful pattern and then neutral wedges.

Speaking of earrings and a cuff bracelet, this is what I would suggest…I have this bracelet and I wear it almost every day, and then I just ordered these earrings. I can’t wait to get them in and start styling them with all the things I already own. Sometimes all you need is the right accessory to make an outfit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My next “one and done” outfit is this adorable embroidered dress. To be honest, I would probably even wear this as a cover up with my big sunhat and favorite comfy sandals. If you wear this out for a casual dinner date and it’s a little chilly ( I mean imagine, my southern friends anything less than 90 would be heaven), throw on your denim jacket or a light weight wrap. So summer chic.

Again, add that cuff bracelet I mentioned and if you want to dress it up even more, wear some nude wedges. Here is my favorite. And another favorite. You may have seen this on my spring Target Tuesday.

I love the idea of this jumpsuit. I love the easiness of it, the pattern and colors. You could add a denim jacket or even a white blazer if you wanted another layer. Or just wear some delicate jewelry as this jumpsuit lends itself to an effortless and simple summer look. To me, it’s a great look for a young mom on the go. All you have to do is add classic gold hoops, a delicate necklace and taupe sandals or wedges and your mom bag filled with Goldfish crackers hopefully.

I have been known to make an outfit around shoes or even a necklace. The right animal print is hard to find especially for different skin tones. You want to be sure you don’t pick one that fights with what you are wearing.  You want it to complement you and your ensemble. So to me this is the perfect pattern and shade. I would wear these with my white jeans, denim skirt, and navy or black sundresses.

Mother’s Day is approaching and what better to celebrate your favorite Mama than to shower her with some fun filled personalised gifts and fashionable items from Target!

Although, we are heading into the warmer months, it’s always good to have a pretty wrap when traveling or to throw over sleeveless dress on cooler evenings. This is something that we don’t always think to buy for ourselves so getting this gorgeous accessory would be such a treat for any mama or mama friend!

If you are not feeling the bright color, this light pink is another option. You can easily wear it with white, grays or black.  Or if you don’t want to go neutral you can even pair it with a darker pink giving you a pretty tone on tone look.

I adore this kimono! It just screams summer to me! With the crochet detailed design, you can  use this as your statement piece, adding simple jewelry to top off your look. This kimono would also be a great alternative to a wrap, cardigan or even wear over a bathing suit as a coverup.

All mamas deserve to feel pampered on Mother’s Day and what better way to do that is, than with a soft, pretty robe. To make it more personal, you can even add an initial or monogram.

These fun wine stoppers. You can give with a nice bottle of wine or champagne or even pretty wine glasses. Cheers to you mamas out there!

These bath bombs are so fun and a real treat at the end of a busy day. Add a gift card to a spa or maybe even pair it with the pretty robe mentioned earlier.

For the coffee or hot tea loving friend, this mug will make any tired mama feel good about themselves with each sip to the last drop.

Finally, this book, Grace Not Perfection by Emily Ley, is an absolute treasure for us mamas. We all need to give ourselves as well as each other grace. It sounds so simple, but when we are so busy with our lives, going, going and trying to do it all, it’s easy to get caught up in all the things and forgetting what’s truly important in life. So Emily Ley helps us prioritize and simplify our busy lives while pointing us back to God, the one who gives us grace all day and every day of our lives.

 

Yeah, you try to go into Target for just one thing and see how that works.

So I thought I would try something a little different with my Target Tuesday feature and highlight some of the home decor that I am really loving right now.

We are moving into a new home next month, and it has a few more rooms than our current house, so it’s been fun to brainstorm how those other rooms and bathrooms might look. With that being said, I also want to be sure I don’t go too crazy, spending tons of money on home accessories so of course I turned to my favorite store, Target, to get some inexpensive pieces, yet still good quality.

So this is a new line that Target just got in and I am loving it! It’s called Opal House. I adore the colors and patterns they use.

As I plan for our guest bathroom which we have never had before or I guess I should say, never had a true guest bathroom. Right now, we use our girls’ bathroom as our guest bathroom.

I am trying to use some of the things I already have in our girls’ bathroom which is black (or really charcoal) and white but want to add a little more texture and spice to it. I found these lovely towels and accessories. I love how striking they are and then the bold color adds a little fun to already simple design.

 

Another room we are excited about is a playroom for our girls.  The girls want to do this kind of boho chic look with a splash of American Girl dolls I am sure. I am not quite the boho style kind of girl, but hey, it will be fun for my girls to make a room of their very own to play, read, watch movies and study (I hope) too. We already have a sofa for them to veg out on so we just need to add some fun seating, storage and desks. I won’t do this all at once of course, but this is what I have my eye on so far.

I really like this rattan basket for the girls to store their toys. Very chic and easy to throw in their stuffed animals and dolls for a quick clean up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My girls love a good cozy blanket and this color will really pop and brighten up all the natural and neutral colors we already have on hand. I also like this one to add more pattern to the room as well as this fun pouf for them to sit on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then, I hope to eventually add some desks in the room for the girls to be able to do their homework or all the arts and crafts they enjoy doing.

I really like the simplicity of this one since the rest of the room will have a lot of colors, textures and patterns.

So thanks again Target for helping this Mama find some inexpensive, yet good quality pieces for my family’s new home.

That’s too funny! Like that would happen.

Well, it’s been a minute since I posted on Target Tuesday so thought I would give you friends a wrap up of my favorites and that have been on repeat since this gal could finally wear open toe shoes.

These Birkenstock look alikes in rose gold have been the most comfortable shoes I have bought in a long time. The more I wear these the more they seem to form to the shape of my foot, just like the real Birkenstocks do. This rose gold color is also very flattering on most skin tones and with this toe wrap style, it gives the standard Birkenstock style, a more feminine look.

 

The next favorite, are these pretty and classic taupe open toe shoes. I have worn them with dresses, skirts and even boyfriend jeans. Because of their simplicity and neutral color, they are easy to style. They are also surprisingly comfy because of the lower block heel. I love to have a neutral color block open toe heel on hand especially if you are going to an event outside you don’t have to worry about your heels getting stuck in the grass. Believe me, I have been there, and it’s not pretty or graceful trying to get your heel unstuck.

Next up, this fun navy and white polkadot jumpsuit. I actually wore this on Easter Sunday. We were in Atlanta to celebrate Easter as well as my husband’s mom’s birthday. I didn’t expect it to be so chilly so I was glad I had this fabulous piece on hand in place of the sleeveless dress I had planned to wear. I usually don’t wear something like a jumpsuit for Easter but it was kind of fun to do something different. Because of the off the shoulder style and the nice v shape in the back, you can easily dress it up for a dinner date, but right now you will probably see me wearing this shopping with a client with a white blazer over it. Then, my new taupe heels of course.

I would show you a picture of me wearing it, but the picture that was taken of me and my family on Easter doesn’t really show how the jumpsuit really looks so I will post one later and you can see the different ways I styled it.

When I saw these darling gingham shorts, I was thinking, well that is something my girls would look cute in, but not sure Mama would. Well, I actually really like them! They are lightweight and with the tie at the waist, you can dress these up or down. Love that! Right now, I plan to wear these with a white button down, chambray top to a basic tee. Post on how I style these to be continued.

Then, last but not least, is this stripe midi dress. I think I posted how much I loved the black one that I bought the stripe one too. So comfy and flattering and the perfect transition piece with it still being a chilly spring.  If you still feel that you need another layer to give it a more stylish look, you could always add a denim jacket and the for Fall, a leather jacket with some fun boots.

Despite this crazy cold weather lately, Spring has sprung all over the retail world! You can’t help but see all the bright colors and patterns in the windows, the latest trends in decor and more!  Are your kids (or maybe you) counting down the days until spring break? It can’t get here fast enough for my two girls.

So in the spirit of Spring coming (hopefully soon!), let’s get some shopping done and get you ready to welcome the warmer weather!

Are these gingham tie shorts not adorable and they are on sale! As I have mentioned before, I love just about anything gingham and stripe. It just makes me happy! Also, the gingham pattern allows you to still mix and match with different colors. Although in this picture, with it being black and white, I would style it with a white or chambray top instead of this bright blue and then jazz it up with other colors with your accessories if you want.

This dress is the picture of easy breezy spring style. I wasn’t quick on the draw when I first saw it online and now it’s unavailable in my size. There are still some sizes left so Target may have your size. Check it out!

I love a good jumpsuit and the reason I chose this particular one is because it has sleeves and you can wear it day or night. For day, I would keep my accessories simple and wear a bronze or taupe sandal. Then, at night, a black open toe heel, statement earrings and gold clutch.

 

If you don’t want to do a black open toe heel, I would suggest these lovely taupe ones.

They are dressy enough to wear at night, yet not too over the top to wear during the day with a jumpsuit or sundress.

This lavender color is hot right now and this sandal is a great way to ease into this color trend without it being too expensive or feel like you are trying too hard. With this simple style, you can wear it with almost anything, from white jeans and tee to a pretty sundress. Just remember, it is still a color so don’t take away from that or over do it on the accessories.

Finally, and speaking of trends, this Birkenstock like trend is kind of growing on me. I chose this rose gold color because it didn’t seem as grungy compared to the brown and tan colors. So how I would style this…I would pair with my favorite white v neck tee and denim shorts or a more casual tee dress like this one.

In honor of International Women’s Day, I wanted to do something a little different than my typical style talk. I wanted to talk about some of my favorite women that to me are a picture of style, class, dignity, strength and faith.

These women really walk the walk and talk the talk. They lift others up and make a difference in their own community and some even around the world. I am constantly wanting to better myself after reading these wonderful women’s words and even having the privilege to meet one of them.

So when I find something or someone that has really inspired me, I just have to share it with my friends and that’s you! My few friends that actually might be reading my blog (lol!!).

So first off, Hoda Kotb! I mean, do you just not want to smile from ear to ear every time you see this woman?!! And when I see her hugging someone, I just want to get in there too and get a “Hoda hug.” Let’s say, I was probably more than just excited when she officially  joined Savannah Guthrie (who I also adore) on the Today Show! Hoda Kotb seems to be one of those women that is everyone’s biggest cheerleader, confidant and best friend.  To me, everyone needs a Hoda in your life. So with that being said, this book that she wrote in 2016, Where We Belong, just warmed my heart and put a fire in me to really follow my passion and make a difference in other’s lives. This book is really inspiring with all the different stories of others rediscovering their passions, purpose, no matter what season of life they are in. Sometimes, as moms, or as women in general, when there is a change in our life, you can perhaps feel as if you may have lost yourself. Maybe lost your purpose or wondered what that purpose was now?  Do yourself a favor, and pick this book up! It’s like getting a big ole “Hoda Hug.”

Another woman that has made a big difference in my life is Mrs. Jamie Ivey! This girl is the real deal! I had the privilege of meeting her last year at one of her Happy Hour Live events in Austin, and I felt like I was meeting one of my long lost best friends.  The whole Happy Hour Live event was based on good ole southern hospitality (which I am all about that) and most importantly, lifting other women up! Oh and you can’t forget the amazing vendors (hello shopping!) and incredible food prepared by Jamie’s husband.  So let’s just say, I was basically pretty happy that weekend. I had my favorite food, got a little retail therapy, got to meet some fun new friends and listen to Jamie and her guests speak God’s word.  And that’s what Jamie Ivey does. She speaks to you as if you are her friend, and reminds you that even through the dark times or maybe even a time you felt shame, you are still loved by God. This page turner of a book, If you Only Knew, will help you embrace the mess, so you can become closer to God and also closer to those around you. It inspires you to be more transparent(or real), and not worry about what others think you should be. You see when people see the true you,  that’s when you can really transform yourself and become who are meant to be. So check out this book, If You Only Knew, and Jamie Ivey’s Happy Hour Live podcast if you haven’t already! You will not regret it and you will be better for it.

Alright friends, I am still in the middle of reading this book, but I am loving it already!  Oh and guess where I got it! Target! I also love this author’s podcast, Dais. Can you tell I am a big podcast listener? I am in the car a lot! I mean, a lot! Anyway, this gal is my kind of gal too. Okay, now I realize I am sounding a little stalkerish with these women, but I promise, it’s okay and they are okay with it too. So let me tell you about Rachel Hollis…first of all, this girl is a fighter for women and her mission is to empower them to be the best version of themselves, because when we take care of ourselves, we are better moms, wives, friends, etc. This philosophy is just part of what her latest book, Girl, Wash Your Face, is about! I love the title by the way. How many times do you have to remind yourself to wash your face at night when you are dead dog tired and want to just climb into bed? Raise your hand! I know I am raising mine really high! But as I said, this little gem of a book, is not just about that…it’s about keeping promises to yourself, keeping those goals and treating yourself as if you would treat a good friend. You wouldn’t talk mean to or about a good friend, so don’t do that to yourself. Give yourself grace. Rachel Hollis is your ultimate coach/friend to get you to just start thinking differently in a good way. And believe me she isn’t just talking the talk. Ms. Rachel  is putting her words into action and we get to benefit from her words of wisdom. Thanks, Rach! Can I call you that?  😉

So I had the pleasure of being on Melanie Shankle’s launch team for Church of the Small Things this fall and I soaked up every single word, underlined and highlighted. In fact, I loved this book so much that I think I pretty much gave this book to all my favorite people as a gift this Christmas or for birthdays. Melanie’s words, are and have been simply a gift to me. If you want to laugh out loud while also be encouraged, go get  Church of the Small Things. I have quoted this book a few times too many on my FB page but I am okay with that. I have been following Melanie (aka Big Mama) and reading all her books such as The Antelope in the Living Room and And Nobody’s Cuter than You, that will make you want a friend just like her Gully, for years.  I also love this lady’s style and passion for fashion. And she is not scared to try a new beauty product or skin regimen which if you know me, I am not scared either. Melanie talks about this a lot on her podcast (Gah, I need an intervention) Big Boo Cast, and thanks to her and her pal Sophie Hudson, I am loving my new Lavender lotion from Hummingbird Farms, which I featured on this blog around the holidays. So I have a lot to thank Ms. Melanie for…her encouraging words, her fashion tips, her beauty tips and just being that friend, that comfort, (even through a book), I am so thankful for and I hope by giving you this little scoop, or hint, she may be able to encourage you or a friend.

Happy Target Tuesday friends!

Here are the rest of my “approved” Target finds from last month. You may remember these dresses.

I ordered the orange one thinking it was going to be this pretty coral color…a great color to wear once you get a dose of Vitamin D. Then, when I received it, it was more of the… dare I say, Tennessee Vol orange! So if you are a Vol fan, this dress is for you! The hem on this is super flattering and the fit is so comfy to wear all day long. So great to wear at tailgates you Vol friends!  All you need to do is add a little white jacket or cardigan, the right accessories and you are ready to sing Rocky Top!

If you are like me and do not care for the Tennessee orange (Goooo Gators!!), I would go for the black one as it’s casual enough to wear during the day with some pretty metallic sandals and then to night, with some sassy pumps and pretty accessories.

So I featured this cute grey sweater vest a few Target Tuesday posts ago, and showed you different ways that I wear it, along with my favorite Target denim button down.

Everyone needs a good denim button down as it is the best layering piece all season long. This sweater vest also comes in an olive green color which to me is equally neutral and versatile to have in your wardrobe.

Speaking of olive green, this other favorite Target find, the olive green jacket, is fun for early spring, wearing to soccer games or out running errands with jeans and a simple tee. You can also mix and match the style depending on your work environment and wear over a simple black dress like the Target one above!  The jacket I posted last time, is no longer available but here are some other ones that are similar, here and here.

These black mules (similar here) have been well loved since Fall. They are not only comfy but they really step up my basic jeans and tee look, giving me this preppy kind of street chic look.

When I ordered this black midi dress, I wasn’t sure how I would like it in person or on. Well, I was pleasantly surprised with this lovely Target number and loved it so much, I got it in the stripe pattern. This fab dress is super flattering and so comfortable. In fact, I wore it all day and night last Friday until I had to change into my pjs. For day, I styled this dress with my blush Vince Camuto open toe shoes, my favorite pendant necklace and jean jacket. For dinner that night, I changed my shoes to black strappy shoes and added a leather jacket to give me a dressier look. With this length dress you definitely need a heel or wedge.

Another fun Target find is this sassy magenta dress ! Because this is such a bold color, I wanted to be sure to stick with a simple and classic style. I love the fact this dress has pockets and it’s less than forty dollars! I mean, who doesn’t love that?!

And last but not least, accessories of course. My favorite part! I realize these are a simple looking,  but to me, they are striking. I also love the weight of these because they are not too heavy where they pull on your ear lobe.

These earrings are a different take on your standard gold hoops which everyone needs to have some gold hoops. With these, you can easily wear them with a necklace or on their own, while still making a statement with your wardrobe.

Speaking of making a statement, this bracelet definitely does just that. I love a good cuff bracelet. And as we go into the warmer months (hopefully soon), this is a great accessory to have on hand to add to a sundress or little black dress for date night.

Target is often referred to as a “one stop shop,” “a little slice of retail heaven” or “therapy” perhaps? No pressure, there, Target!

So I wanted to give you all a recap of the Target favorites that I have featured on the blog this month. Some that I love and can’t wear enough of, and then some that didn’t work out because of the fit or quality.

Now, you may be thinking, it’s Target, you get what you pay for. It’s not going to be great quality. Well, friends, you are wrong! You can still find good, quality pieces if you know what to look for.

As I have talked about before, I love to create a more balanced style with my wardrobe, mixing high and low price point items. The key to this is knowing what to splurge on and what to save on and that may different for you and for me.

For me, I don’t mind invested in the more classic pieces that I know I will wear year after year. For example, a good coat, handbag and shoes is what I will splurge on.

Maybe for you it’s sunglasses or a good pair of jeans.

Regardless of what it is, remember to stay true to your style (especially lifestyle) and not what  the latest and greatest think you should wear.

So when shopping at Target (or as my buddy Kristen Wigg might say, “Ter-get”), you need to be sure to know what you are looking for. Yes, I know, it’s hard, friends…you go in with a list of items such as detergent and shampoo and you leave with a whole wardrobe for you and your kids! The struggle is real, believe me! I have been there! But I have learned from my mistakes and when I learn something new, I like to share it with my friends!

When shopping at stores like Target, you want to be sure you are not buying something that well, looks, low quality. Feel the material, it’s it too thin, are the buttons too large, is the pattern too loud. When you buy at places like Target, Old Navy, H&M, or Zara, you usually want to go more neutral or classic style. Keep people guessing or surprised where you got this top or pair of shoes.

My point is, don’t make it obvious and you can see with what I kept and things I just had to let go even though I loved the look, it was maybe not for me. Perfect example, I talked about this backpack, love the color just not the stitching on it.

Have you ever put on your favorite “big girl” shoes and just felt like you could conquer the day or even the week!

My girls love to put on my dress shoes. It’s so cute! The minute they put them on, they are all smiles and full of confidence as they stomp down our big hallway. I wish I could just bottle up that energy and self assurance and have it forever.

While I know that the point of this Marlyn Monroe quote is not just about playing dress up in your Mama’s big girl shoes. To me, it’s more about equipping yourself (and your girls) with the skills they need to go out and pursue their purpose.

To surround yourself with positivity and the best mentors around to help you achieve your purpose and passions because when you have that true passion then hopefully (with the right shoes of course) you can achieve your purpose.

So let’s go back to the right shoes for a second.  You knew I was going back to that didn’t you?

I have compiled just a few of my favorites, but you don’t have to buy these exact same ones. Try to use this as a guideline or inspiration to add to your wardrobe. I promise you, I will not steer you wrong.

The key components to remember, almond toe, taupe and a statement shoe.

So Sam Edelman shoes are some of my favorite! They not only look amazing but they are comfortable (depending on heel height) and even better, affordable.

For me, and my high arch, I normally keep my heel height at  2 inches at the most. Now, I realize some of you may can wear more or less. You do you! I am going to do my 2 inches and wedges!

Now, if you are a flat kind of gal, please! No worries and no excuses! I have got you! You can still be in style and comfortable.

These are from my Target pick from a couple of weeks ago. I wear them probably every week. All year long! Love them! They come in other colors, but black…hey, it’s a classic!

Another shoe that I actually just purchased from “Tar-jay” and love are these blush tone loafers. The picture does not do them justice.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well these fit. Really! I was not expecting them to feel so good but so glad they do! Maybe they will replace my Ugg slippers I tend to accidentally wear to Publix from time to time.

I love Sole Society shoes. Like Sam Edelman, they are affordable and comfy. Everyone needs a good statement shoe, just like they need a good statement accessory, so depending on your lifestyle or work environment, I thought these red ones were so fun, yet so elegant! I mean you could literally wear all gray or white and still look so chic in these fab shoes!

 

So here you have…my favorite Sam Edelman leopard print flats. I have worn them for three or four years now and still get tons of compliments on them!

I have linked a couple here and here that are similar within in the same price point to give you more options, but what I really want you to see is that this model was wearing this simple outfit and then you have these leopard print shoes, and hello! She just took her style to a totally different level!

Now, who wouldn’t feel good or want to conquer her to-do list wearing these?!

You know I had to throw in some snakeskin pattern or another statement shoe. So there you have it! While I adore a good black or nude pump, it gets hot in the summer, and you need to let your tootsies just breathe. Again, Cole Hann makes the best wedges. But before you make the big purchase, think about if you would wear more nude or black?  Or be daring and go for the snakeskin!

Okay, I had no idea that Saturday Night Live had a Target skit.  Probably because this Mama can never stay up for it. I love Kristen Wig and so when I was “Googling” some Target things, this came up, along with some of her hilarious YouTube SNL skits that are not the most appropriate to put on here, but hey, if you want to go check them out, by all means.

This week, for my Target Tuesday edition, I wanted to focus on dresses. It’s always good to have a go to dress in your closet that can be worn casually or dressy.

So here are my favorites…

How sweet is this dress! I could see this being worn to a luncheon, or on vacation. With this chambray and lace shift dress, I would dress it up by adding nude or blush color open toe heel shoe and pretty clutch in gold or maybe another color depending on the event. Because of the lace neck, you want to keep the jewelry simple. For a more casual look, I would add your favorite gold or taupe sandals and market tote like this one  or this one and you are ready to go. One and done!

Everyone needs a simple black dress in their wardrobe! I love that this one has sleeves and with this length it allows you to really elevate your style. You can add a striking, statement necklace or leopard print pumps, but not both.

If I were wearing this to the office, I would add a pretty camel color jacket or blazer for a more sophisticated look.

While I realize this length is not for everyone, I have found another go to black dress. 

The sleeves are so fun, yet elegant at the same time. Not sure that makes sense, but you will see what I mean once you check this dress up close and personal. Depending on the occasion or event, you can easily change up your look with your accessories, adding a turquoise necklace or a pretty vest like my favorite Target one  so it doesn’t take away from the pretty pleated sleeves.

I love a good shirtdress and this one is the perfect transition piece as we go into the spring season. Because of the tie in the front, I would keep my jewelry simple. Then, if you wanted to add some color or pattern, you could do that with your handbag (or clutch) and shoes.

For the office,  I would add a navy blazer or cardigan.

Then, as you take it into early, Fall, you can add a leather jacket and boots.

 

Simple, sleek, yet feminine is how I would describe this dress. I love navy because the color is flattering and it’s versatile. I would definitely wear this style dress to church,  a wedding, a luncheon or to the office. This dress also comes in other colors such as bright blue or lavender so take your pick! Just make sure you choose a color complements the rest of your wardrobe and stays true to your style.

Speaking of style, you know how I mentioned in my last post, I wanted to add more color to my closet to elevate my look…

While the color of this dress may be a little more bold than I would normally go for, I am going to try it. I already have shoes and accessories that can easily go with this dress and the style of the dress is definitely more me. Simple! And because of the dress’ simplicity and color, you can add some fun sandals like these and/or accessories to make it more of an every day look.

So when shopping for your go-to dress, just remember to stay true to your personal style, what makes you look good (that’s a given I know) but feel good while wearing it. Because your clothes only look good when you feel good.
