It’s that time of year to break out the sweaters and for my Target Tuesday edition, I have rounded up some of my favorite cozy tops and a couple of fun jackets to help you stay warm this season.
I am actually wearing this particular sweater as I type. It’ s in the 30s here in Nashville and it has kept me so comfy and cozy during my all my errand running today. Today, I styled it with my skinny Paige jeans (again you can mix high and low price points to stretch your wardrobe) and Frye riding boots. You also have probably seen me with this on and my favorite Athlete leggings and tennis shoes. I am all about comfort these days. I love that with this cream color and style, it really lends itself to be so versatile. If you wanted to wear it to a holiday party, you could style with black dress pants and festive earrings or shoes.
I have had so much fun wearing this sweater! The color itself makes a bright statement on those cold dreary days . I got it in a medium because one it ran a little on the short side but two, I wanted it to be a little boxy, much different than most of my more structured sweaters. As you have heard me say before, I tend to lean to Target for my more “out of the box” styles and color because the prices are so reasonable and for the price (it is now $23), I don’t mind so such if I just wear it for just one season. So far, I have styled this sweater with my boyfriend jeans and leopard print loafers and then black dress pants and pumps for church. For another look, I will add a patterned button down and then for early spring, wear my white jeans and Converse. The color is just a great shade to mix and match.
Another alternative if you don’t like the crew neck is this one.
I love a gray sweater. You can easily layer with different color and pattern button downs or wear by itself with some black leather pants and fun shoes. Or if you are like me and live in jeans and boots this time of year, that works too. This sweater also comes in light pink and cream.
As we are upon the season of holiday parties, here are two sweaters that I think are so elegant and classy…and again, you can’t beat the price.
I actually wore the first one for our Christmas card pictures last weekend. I styled the wrap sweater with jeans as we were doing more a casual look, but I will later put with my black dress pants, winter white pants and then I have some fun J. Crew leopard ankle pants to snazzy it up a little.
Then, speaking of snazzy, check out this sweater with the unexpected tie back. I don’t personally own it, but I would if I had a party to wear it too or it would also be a fun date night look when it’s a little chilly.
So here I go again, stepping out of my box and that’s what’s fun about this time of year, is you can stretch yourself and your style a little. You can experiment with colors with scarves and jackets such a this festive one!
This red faux fur bomber! Yes, I did! I love the fit, the shade and of course how soft it is. Now this will make an outfit on it’s own this holiday season. Holiday jacket, check!
Then, I love a good puffer jacket that is easy to throw on over my workout clothes. When I am going in and out of barre class, I don’t want a huge jacket to store or have to wear, so this one is stylish, affordable and comfortable.
I hope you all loved this Target Tuesday picks. Sorry I have been so MIA lately. It’s been a busy busy styling season, which I am so grateful for and I can’t wait to share more of my styling tips and outfit inspirations in the coming weeks.
